At New*Life furniture, we strive to utilise any old wood that may end up either being burnt, or worse, thrown into a landfill site. Everybody knows that landfill sites are bad for the environment, yet we continue to throw away all the things we don’t have need for, rather than taking a little effort to recycle.

Swindon uses in excess of 85 thousand tons of rubbish with only 30% of it being recycled (figures from Swindon borough council). Our parent company, Swindon Reclaimed Timber, does recycle. The yard takes on reclaimed wood, gives it a little TLC, and sells it on as a usable, recycled product. New*Life furniture is quite simply the next step towards making the recycled timber even more usable…

we hand craft it into coffee tables, mirror frames, book cases and much more! Using reclaimed and de-graded stock, we can make just about anything to your specification! Bespoke and niche, our products stand out in the ever growing “Cheap furniture” crowd. Quality, style and good for the environment…. is it too good to be true?
